That is why written contracts are always better than verbal ones.

It's most likely just a drop in the bucket for Frank who is obviously wealthy.

What must be considered are the attorney's fees and court costs coming out of those £1.8million.

im not an expert but i think the loser of the case pays for the costs, ie. frank, not Joe.
But like I said earlier Joe will be lucky to get £5 a week of him.

The company is in admin already being wound up.It's gonna be dissolved soon and Calzaghe is getting nothing, not even legal fees so he's probably started jogging for his next fight.

It's sad but not many people ever beat promoters.Warren is just too experienced and he planned this long back.

Did any of you guys watch Don King:Only in America ,damn

Joe Calslappy should be a little more grateful to the architect of the most fraudulent career in all of boxing. Not to mention a career path that Zsolt Erdei is jealous of.

There was no verbal contract. If you really think that a businessman as experienced and savvy as Warren is would make a verbal agreement worth millions of pounds to him and have no written record whatsoever, not even a diary record, then you're very naive. Warren is just sore that Calzaghe left his stable and is trying to get out of paying him the money he owes, first by dragging it through the courts, then by liquidating the promotional company that technically owes the money and using a different one for his promotions from now on. He's just a man who hates to lose.
