Floyd got injured by a body shot

Floyd damaged the cartilage of part of his rib cage, presumably from a body shot in sparring, but there were no details given as to the cause of the injury.

If you have ever sparred or fought you know that you can be hit 1 million times in the same place and not be hurt. Then you can be hit while twisting or turning and all of a sudden be hurt.

If he did get injured like they say, it was a fluke injury.

Yeh, and the cartillage in the ribs, so he must have been twisting a wrong way to pull it

This is precisely the type of injury you can get after a long period of inactivity.

The biggest risk to Floyd from taking a long time off was bringing his body back up to that superb level of fitness he always had.

Plus, at 32, he will start to see his nagging injuries worsen after a lifetime of fighting and gymwork.

Thats if you arent training, but Floyd trained everyday, just not at the intensity when you trainin for a fight

He said he trains 10/10 intensity for a fight, but when on his break he trained 7/10 intensity, still keepin in great shape
