I don't hate Roy at all and I'm not racist.

I'm just giving my opinion. He never wanted to fight outside of America when it mattered. Is that not true?

These Roy fans are easy to upset. You post something they don't like and they insult you. What happened to being respectful?

My defense to that would be... Roy had more of a case as champion, as to who should come where to fight him.

At lightheavyweight anyway, which was his main weight class.

The only fighter that could make a case for Roy coming to them, instead of them coming here to fight Roy, would be Darius.

That's because he was the "lineal" champion.

However, at the same time Roy held the WBC, WBA, IBF, IBO, NABF, WBF, and IBA light heavyweight titles all at the same time.

So maybe Darius was the LHW champion by technical standards... but Roy has a case to make holding 7 titles in one weight class.

Dont care if he's 40 and not the same Roy from 10 years ago, he's still Roy.

I think this is great. I expect this fight to create much buzz in the coming months as long as Jones and Green can get past their first opponents. I believe Green was calling Jr. out years ago.

I like what Roy Jones is doing... he still wants to box, but he realizes he can't compete with the likes of Joe Calzaghe anymore (the bout definitely was enough to convince anyone of that).

But he's also not just taking glorified high money sparring sessions against other old fighters. He's fighting the mid level guys that will still give him a challenge, and you actually can be a little impressed that he is beating them with his diminished skills and age.
