Lets say Mayweather-Marquez were to never happen and Pacquiao agreed to fight Marquez July 15th or w.e date the mayweather marquez fight was gonna be on, would Pacquiao-Marquez have only sold 3,000 tickets by this time? Or would it already be half way sold out or more?

the problem ain't people wanting to go, the problem is the seating prices.
All of the floor seats AND ALL of the FIRST level seats were ALL 1000 Dollars!!! That is way too much, all the other cheaper seats sold out. I would say about half of the tickets were 1000 dollars. When JMM fought Casamayor, the tickets at the MGM for a middle section middle height on the first level was 300 dollars.
