paul hasnt proven shyt yet. a win over a old past his prime winky dont get you a title fight. him and clottey are in the same position. in the top 5 of their divisions and need to keep on fighthing top contenders if they want a big title fight.

I consider Paul's win over Winky Wright better than Cotto's victory over Clottey. Clottey was coming off a sizable layoff too even though it wasn't as long as Winky's. And on top of that, Winky could beat a lot of the slugs at 160 right now. And Cotto didn't exactly beat Clottey convincingly either on top of the fact that he has got Paul Williams' old belt around his waist without earning it.

Clottey is in his prime and Winky was not. In no way shape or form someone should consider a win over an old Winky better than a win over a prime Clottey.

They are both good opponents but they are similar in style, and Williams beat Winky a lot more convincingly than Cotto beat Clottey. The only things you can take away from Williams' win over Wright is the fact that Wright was coming off a loss to Hopkins (but didn't get dominated) and older age than Clottey. Paul's win over Margarito in his home town shows he is deserving of a fight with Mosley and Cotto as well.
