Why should he? He has the potential to get a fight with the MW Champ Kelly Pavlik and possibly take his title, as well as get paid a significant amount more than he would fighting Clottey. Doesn't seem like the best fight for him at the time.

Just for the record, I think Williams would outwork Clottey to the point where he is just covered up the entire time. Williams by UD.

He should, I think Williams can stop Clottey in my personal opinion. Everyone keeps talking about how Clotteys defense is so great when I saw the opposite in the Cotto fight, Cotto was punching through Clotteys defense. I think Williams can do the same and I don't think Williams will stop throwing.

i dont think he is because clottey is with bob arum and clottey lost his IBF title
