WHY? If Pacquiao becomes champion at 147 he will be a 7 division worldchampion hell be in the top 5 ATG. He would become the only person to win world titles at 7 divisions. I don't think he will let that chance go by.

People often say that Cotto needs Pacquiao if he wants to get that big payday. But what they don't realize is that its also the other way around. Lets say Cotto and Mosley don't fight Pacquiao because of the weight issue. Who is Pacquiao gonna fight then? Bradley, Campbell or Valero? THOSE FIGHTS WILL NOT SELL HALF US MUCH as COTTO/MOSLEY WOULD DO. And he can't fight Mayweather or JMM either because they both can't have another fight this year.

I love Pacman man but if he wants to fight Cotto for his Welterweight crown he should fight him at 147. If not, let Cotto fight Mosley and Pacman can fight Bradley, Campbell or Valero.
