however, if he goes straight for PAC and accepts 40, and wins, then he can use the numbers for THAT fight as his new bargaining chip

The thing is, EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE will tune in for this one, because everybody thinks that this will be the fight that Floyd gets his ass whooped! Both Pac and Floyd make more if they split it 50/50, than if they were to fight anyone else.
