Shane Mosley vs Antonio Margarito 2 likely by May of 2010?

I saw an article posted here saying that Margarito is about to get his CA license back. He says he wants a 10 round tune up fight then a title fight with 1 of Mosley/Cotto/Pac.

He says he wants revenge against Mosley so what are your thoughts? He fights his tune up in Sep and then the big title fight in May? I think he can beat Cotto again but i don't think he beats Mosley.

He could beat Cotto unless Shane badly damaged him. But a second fight with Shane is one he will lose again, because Margarito only fights one way. I don't think he could make all the necessary adjustments.

I agree with Tek. Margarito does only fight one way. The thing I think about the most with a rematch with Mosley is. Will Mosley be too confident? Whenever Mosley comes into the ring overly confident he loses. I think he might come in a little over confident and think it will be an easy win.

I want to see Margarito back in the game. He is one of the few exciting fighters of this era.

Its like saying JMM pursuing Pacquiao for a rematch is pointless. Frazier-Ali rematches were pointless. The point for anyone rematching someone after a loss is to redeem the loss. Margarito's first KO loss was to Mosley. So why not rematch him?
