To all you haters, PAC has never fought at a catch weight.

With all these articles coming from PAC haters(Cliff Rold) pointing finger at the people's champ re this catch-weight biz.

Umm, newsflash, since when did PAC fight at a catch weight? The answer is never, not once in his entire pro career!!

Who called who out? Who presented the idea of fighting at a catch weight? Mosley did, 'cause he's too much of a ***** to face a real 147lber w/ real talent and he knows he can't hack it at 154lbs!!

I might be ****** but isn't pbf's supposed catchweight a much greater discrepancy than this one? After nearly 60 pro fights pac may do a catchweight & he gets ridiculed? We gotta understand we're witnessing something pretty special here.

Nothing wrong with catchweight , it just states the fighters are far apart weight wise and the trainer of the smaller guy wants to level the handicap , any agreed upon weight that is different from the norm for the fighters in question is catch weight , Klit could meet Pavlik at 175 and its a catchweight fight even though its at LH its still catchweight concerning the 2 fighters .

Cliff Rold doesn't sound like a hater. He sounded very reasonable.

He said it best, there's no point fighting a weakened version of an opponent.

Big pac fan here, but if he can't fight a 147 version of Cotto or Mosley, he better stay at 140.

I don't think it's so much the catchweight,it's the fact he(or Roach) makes his opponents move down to unhealthy weights, therefore giving him an advantage the night of the fight.

For example the Morales fights,De La Hoya, and now wanting Cotto to do the same. They drain themselves to the point of being weak on fight night. It's an advantage and a ***** move if you ask me.

Yes they called him out,yet Marquez called mayweather out and Pretty boy uses this same reason to make him come up to his weight and you guys give him crap about it,but when Mosley calls Pac out it's o.k for Pac to make him come down to an unhealthy weight?Like mayweather said in his interview with Kenny"which one is it"?

Just like Mayweather should fight fighters in his own division, Pac should the same!

I'm a pacquiao and cotto fan, actually been a fan longer of pacquiao than cottos because I seen pacquiao fighting since he had dyed blonde hair(believe that fight was in 1999 or 1998 maybe earlier). Not sure if any of you can remember when pac had goofy ass highlighted dyed hair or not. But I agree, if pacquiao is going for legacy than he needs to fight at 147, and if his people and him believe he is not a 147 pound fighter than he should take out all the 140 pounders. Alot of good 140 pounders like Bradley, Holt, and now nate campbell.

No, he's a hater. His points are reasonable if PAC and team were the ones who proposed this whole catch weight idea.

But no, it was Mosley who at every interview kept calling PAC out and said that he was willing to fight PAC at a catch weight!

So why doesn't Cliff Rold do an article Mosley to fight legit WW ??

All PAC's team did was respond to all those WW's calling him out, that he'll fight 'em on his terms!!

So all these WW's need to quit frontin' and start fighting each other and quit calling PAC out. Just like y'all are pointing the finger at PAC for not choosing to fight guys like Campbell, Holt, etc..

It's not about weight with Mosley, Cotto, Floyd, Juanita and PAC. It's $$$

morales was at 130 and pacquiao was at 126 when they started negotiating the fight , dumb fuck.

pacquiao had to move up to 130 from 126 to fight morales.

after the morales lost the 2nd fight , he then wanted at 135. why would pacquiao agree to that? he fought morales twice at morales' weight class and then now move up again another weight class for him?

as far as delahoya , even at 147 people thought the fight was a joke. do you think anyone would have bought it at 154?

cotto is 147 champ. pacquiao is a 140 champ. a fight in the middle would be fair to both.

it's a ***** move for pacquiao who just weighed 138 for his last fight to ask for a fight at 143-144?

but it's not a ***** move for a welterweight to ask a natural featherweight to come up to 147?

                  dumb.
