It's an easy match-up for Jones, or atleast it should be. Green was outboxed by a Roy Jones pretender Anthony Mundine.

For those that don't know much about Green......
Daniel ("Danny") Thomas Green (born 9 March 1973) is an Australian professional Light Heavyweight Boxer and former Olympian, who is nicknamed The Green Machine.

Green was born on 9 March 1973 and grew up in Doubleview, a suburb of Perth, the capital of Western Australia and he attended Newman College in Churchlands.

Green participated in kickboxing and martial arts throughout his youth, in addition to his involvement in Australian Rules Football. He began boxing at 18. He attended a clinic to assist with preparation for the next Australian Rules Football season. Noted trainer Pat Develerz convinced him that he possessed significant natural boxing ability. Green took him at his word and commenced a successful amateur career, with Develerz as his trainer.

Green qualified for the Olympic team and got off to a dream start in the first round of the competition, stopping the Brazilian Laudelino Barros in the fourth and final round. The Russian Alexander Lebziak stopped Green in the fourth and final round of their second round bout. Lebziak went on to claim the Gold medal.

Green carries a record of won 26 (KO 23) + lost 3 (KO 0) + drawn 0 = 29. He is a former world champion winning the WBA LHW Title against Stipe Drews in 2007. He has also won the WBC Super Middleweight Champion (Interim).

He was beaten by Anthony Mudine in one of Aussie's biggest ever fight on a UD in may 2006. He has also once reitred before returning again.

Hall of Famer Jeff Fench once trained him.
