Why not apologize? There is no changing the facts that they found illegal substance in your gloves. Man up to the responsibility of your profession. Is it too much to ask for accountability in the sport? I do not see any remorse from Margarito. Only regret that he was caught, and his career is in the toilet...

because he was in the wrong. It may have been an accident. But accidents deserve an apology as well.

Legal reasons. He really can't speak much on that ****, if he apologized it could insinuate a number of things that for legal reasons aren't good to bring up.

He's doing what he should do. Stay mum on it, when you say that you're innocent say it confidently, controlled, and keep it very short and un-detailed.

Very reasonable. Some half assed apology from Margarito now would make him look even worse at this point. He should save that for when he has to beg the commission for his license back next year.
