Oscar...as usual..faught him at the right time.
Absolutely. Quartey was coming off a 14-month layoff and the worst performance in his career, when he got cracked by Jose Louis Lopez in the later rounds. Perfect timing by Oscar.

don't think he would beat Pacquiao, or a prime Whitaker..both very good southpaws. ODLH can't handle southpaws very well.
      You're a joke.

A prime Oscar was a one handed fighter with ZERO head movement.

Steven Hawking moves his head better than a prime Oscar.

Floyd would take his left hook away from him and score at will on that motionless noggin.

Some speculate Ike had contracted Malaria in Ghana....the same thing happened to Azumah Nelson.

Oscar would have never fought Ike at his best.

Yeah he was sick with malaria in the summer before the first cancellation by Oscar. Simply put, he was nowhere near his best and still almost pulled it off.

Some feel Ike won that fight...it certainly could have gone either way.

A lot of people thought Ike won. The late Eddie Futch said, "It's decisions like this that make me glad I stepped away."

Late 90's DLH would have beat Pac and Mayweather. I still think it's a shame they robbed him in the Tito fight.
