I don't care what anyone says, 17,734 is big FOR ANY FIGHTER!!! Especially in today's standard. Chad Dawson vs Tarver sold like 28 tickets. There are only a select FEW names in boxing that can sell that many tickets - Pacquiao, Oscar, Floyd, Cotto and a few others, and thats it.

Anyone criticizing Cotto for selling 17,000+ tickets is a hater, and nothing more.

No one is criticizing Cotto for sellign 17,000 tickets. But the evidence is obvious. He is not as big a draw as Arum and HBO would have you believe. The only fight he has sold out during the PR day parade weekend is the Judah fight and half of those seats were sold to Judah fans; just as I am sure that at least 7,000 of the seats to this fight were sold to Clottey fans since he is from the bronx.
