the man is the ideal trainer for cotto.i was surprised how cotto could have pretty much won the fight easier by simply letting clottey lead and countering him, and nacho is the man to better that.cotto's corner for his last fight ******.

I think this new trainer Cotto has is not right for him no matter how long he has been on the team. If Cotto could counter with his jab while moving backwards quicker and more efficient, I think he would have done better. Sometimes he seems too stiff, and needs to loosen up.

agreed.he use to be a little more fluid.his learning curve seems to have plateau'd.he needs somebody new.

u are correct at this point i would prefer he has his uncle that the other guy cause it seemed like his uncle used to push him in his last fight he wasnt 2 impresive and didnt win a clear victory

i was all for a new trainer but now i think cotto only basically only needs a cutman. Like freddy roach says a new trainer cant change a fighters style in a couple of months if they have been fighting that way for years. Showed in the hatton fight he had mayweather snr and ricky still fought the same way. Like they say everybody has a game plan until they get hit. or something like that

cotto doesn't have to improve on much.its his defense that's the problem.
hell , i wouldn't mind if he got roberto duran to teach him a thing or two about slipping punches.....
