Cotto can definitely beat Manny, but at a lower weight he'd be risking a lot.

Those fighters LOL LOL Oktay Urkal, lol! AN washed up Zab Judah. Michale Jennings lol who ever the hell he is.... We are Talking Manny Pacquiao. He aint P4P for nothing. Cotto barely won against a durable Clottey and some say he didnt win.
Cotto is a welterweight and he needs to fight WW. Haters underestimate the punching power of Manny as well. To sit and believe that Cotto is going to out maneuver out box and out pressure many is a little naive. I like both of these fighters and its sucks that a catchweight can shift a division around as bad as it does.
cotto is too big for pac.

I'd say that's some good power.
I don't like to **** on Cotto but to me it looked like a combination of Clottey slipping on the canvas (which he did all night) along with the punch. He took far bigger shots later in that fight and didn't even flinch. I don't give a great amount of credit for that knockdown, but it ended up being important in the outcome of the fight. Miguel was lucky there, believe it.

in the past several fights cotto has been fighting bigger welterweights like clottey, margarito(with bricks) and mosely...and i dont think pacmans punchs will do anything....the only punch that really goes through cotto is a uppercut in which manny dosent have and manny hasnt been hit solid since marquez and anybody that says marquez is stronger than cotto must be an idiot

There are different types of punchers, though, and speed makes the difference between a punch you can see coming and one that you can't. The ones you don't see coming are the ones you can't brace youself for. They will hurt you.

Check out what Rashad Holloway was saying after sparring Pacquiao and Margarito and comparing them:

Last week some may remember I put out a quote from a prospect Said El Harrak saying that Pacquiao hit him harder than Margarito. I asked Rashad Holloway who he thought had better power, Pacquiao or Margarito. Here is what he said:

"I agree, Manny's power hurt more. Manny's not the most technically sound fighter but he's more so than Margarito. When you have a snapping punch coming at you, a punch that you don't see with some speed on it, that's an explosive kind of power that hurts you. That's the kind of power that startles you and can put you down.

When you have a heavy-handed individual, which is what I consider Margarito, his punches aren't the type that hurt you with one shot but an accumulation of them can put you down."
