Is Ivan Calderon starting to lose it?

I think he might be starting to lose it a little bit. I'm not too sure though. I though the same when he didn't look so good beating Juan Esquer but then he went on to dominate Dieppa and beat Cazares again so who knows.

Watching the fight live on Saturday I was unable to score it but after just rewatching it I think a draw was a fair decision. And as much as I hate to say it, it really seemed like Calderon didn't want to fight anymore he stopped fighting and just displayed how the cut was bothering him so they got a doctor to look at it again. Cotto's cut was twice as bad and he fought like 9 rounds with it.

Calderon just hasn't seemed as sharp recently as he used to be, and his defense not as good. Maybe it was because of the long lay off? He's 34 yeard old too, he's not young anymore.

I would like to see Calderon-Mayol fight again. I think it would answer a lot of questions...unless a cut happens again which is probable. I would also like to see Calderon get on shot on HBO and make some good money. But first, he needs to take care of business with Mayol.

I was not impressed with him at all... Cracks are definitely beginning to show, but the layoff probably didn't help.

I think so..... there's a rumor in PR he left a gym coz one of the am kids ***ing him up and they didn't like that level of sparring. He seems to get tired earlier in fights now, plus he's way too small for those guys. If he doesn't get to unify this year he should call it.

Wow that's crazy if it's true lol. Yea man he can't afford to be getting tired in fight either because he has no power and needs to be ready for 12. His defense doesn't seem to be as good as it used to be to me either.
