Pac-waggoners just hold on a damn minute

I'm seeing all those cotto/pac threads saying that pacman will easily k.o cotto but youre forgetting a few things...

    1) Cottos chin: No way could pac have taken those shots from clottey, most fighters would have been on the canvas at least once during that fight

    2) Cottos build: Doesnt cotto put on a stone overnight? He'll come in around 160 where as pac will be early 150s

    3) Cottos shots: Pac above lightweight hasnt really been hit to its hard to say about pacs resistance, but from what i remember hes only been hit clean once from hatton in the second round and got wobbled a bit

From how i see it cotto is just a harder version of hatton (bigger/more skilled), dont get me wrong i think pacs speed will make the fight very competitive but i have a feeling the winner of the fight wont find it an easy task.

Pacquiao wouldn't let Cotto off the hook like Clottey did

Yep. Not too mention Pacquiao's speed would mess cotto up. Cotto has a strange style, it's almost like he's confused on how he wants to fight - is he trying to box from the outside or stand and trade? Those times when he is stationary pacquiao is going to be lighting him up with shots, the speed, pacquiao's reflexes and footwork are what will win this fight for Pacman, not size or power.

        1) no way pac will take those hard shots from clottey because he won't be there when the punches are thrown... pac has been very elusive in his last few fights and it will the case if and when he fights cotto...

        2) it will be an advantage definitely but not exactly a guarantee... cotto does not clinch so i don't see him tiring manny out if and when he decides to lean... and his chin is still suspect, he got hurt a lot of times from clottey... imagine if it was manny hitting cotto with those shots but with a lot more frequency, it's good night for miguel...

        3) i think i know the second round bit on the hatton fight... he was not wobbled, he was outbalanced... you were probably watching the british telecast giving that sequence to much of a hype for hatton...

            Legitimate point.

But come to think of it, when is Cotto NOT bleeding badly? Against Alfonzo Gomez and Jennings, really that's it.
