If your favorite current fighter had Floyd's resume, he would have prob been looked at as the GOAT. Lol imagine Cotto with Floyd's resume

Gerena 130(This guy Cotto is pretty good, he beat Gerena at such a young point in his life, very talented fighter)
Hernandez 130(Cotto is really going to be something great)
Corrales 130(Lol can Cotto even beat a prime Corrales P4P???)
Castillo(2) 135(Cotto's win over Clottey is disputable and he won't even give him a rematch like Floyd offered it to Castillo in the post fight interview[both with Arum so don't come with that "it's because of Arum"] If Cotto wants he can demand a rematch against Clottey)
Gatti 140(If it was Cotto he would have prob been praised for it, undoubtedly)
Baldomir 147(8 year winning streak and just beat the former Lineal WW Champ to become it himself, if it was Cotto who beat him...GOAT)
De La Hoya 154(Wow imagine how badly praised would Cotto have gotten if it was he who beat DLH at 154)
Hatton 147(Omggggg Cotto the first man to ever beat Hatton omgggg he is really the GOAT! Wow can this man do anymore for us boxing fans????)

Ia am pleased with Floyd's career even now, even though he could have done more to this point.

I remember him on the Olympic team in Atlanta.

I remember watching him come up

I remember watching him win his first belt against Genaro Hernadez

I remember being amped to watch Floyd fight Angel Manfready

I remember watching him merc all the dudes who challenged him at 130 including Diego Corrales, Jesus Chavez and Carlos Hernadez.

I remember a very good tough close fight with a very underrated light weight champ in Joe Luis Castillo

I remember how he rematched this underrated champ when people disputed his win and how he won the fight much more cleanly in the rematch.

I remember how Floyd put it on Philip N'Dou, Demarcus Corley and Arturo Gatti

I remember how Floyd jumped to 147 pounds to challenge the former undisputed Champ Zab Judah

I remember how Floyd took on the man that took the title from Zab Judah right after that fight

I remember how Floyd gave Oscar every possible advantage to make that fight come off, and still won cleanly in my eyes

I remember how Floyd knocked down Ricky Hatton with a left hook while moving away from him and pretty much ended the fight with that punch.

I don't think I would remember that much about his career if Floyd really accomplished nothing.

Floyd dominated the sport. He was rightfully so the P4P king. He just went the wrong direction after the DLH fight. Although it is a very good win over Hatton, the fighters he should have went after were: Mosley, Margarito, Cotto and Williams. The welterweight division was packed at that time. He neglected to clean it out. Thats why he got much slack. The reason why he gets so much slack now, is because he is basically doing it again.
