Salud Says "Catch-Weight" Cotto is Easy For Pacquiao

Rudy Salud, WBC founding secretary-general and close friend of Manny Pacquiao, says Miguel Cotto will be an easy fight at the proposed catch-weight of 143/144-pounds. Top Rank, who promote both fighters, are looking to match them on November 14 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. [details]

Cotto gets his ass kicked and possibly stopped at 143. At 147 this will be a close decision win for either one.

This can't go lower than 144.

If its so easy for Pac to beat him at a catchweight, and much of his close confidants seem to agree on this, then fight Cotto at 147!!!

IMO Cotto should'nt consider this at anything below 144, two pounds below fridays weigh in seems managable but anything more than that is bogus.

Cotto wouldn't be a walk in the park at 130lbs. But this fight shouldn't go lower than 145lbs, or Cotto will lose something

It will be bad for Pacquiao as much as anyone else, his win will be questioned and tainted

Pacquiao has more than a fair chance at beating Cotto at welterweight so I'd be happiest with the fight at 147lbs

He made 146 for the Clottey fight; 144 or 145 dosen't seem like that much if he stays in shape between fights. Anything lower is really pushing it though
