Pacquiao will expose Cotto's poor defense

Doesn't matter what weight this fights at - Cotto takes too many blows to the head, and Pacquiao's hand speed and power(it's there at 147) would have Cotto all over the shop. Cotto's defense will let him down again and Pacquiao will back his ass up and eventually KO/TKO Cotto in the latter rounds.Comment

Cotto has a lot of problems with straight punches through his guard. Manny is going to land flush a lot. But if Cotto's chin holds up, he will fire back, and he will land. it will be the first time Manny actually gets hit with some big punches.
Pacquiao is not the defensive fighter Clottey is. Not even close.Comment

He's been in there with Judah and Mosley, who regardless of the outcome, can be considered as fast as Pacquiao. Both of these fighters gave him a lot of trouble in some of the rounds. Yet, Cotto managed to adjust and win over both of them. His Jab is going to be a Huge Factor in this fight.Comment

I'm sorry, but Manny will be the only one truly getting exposed. I think his speed is slightly exaggerated. Oscar circa 2003 was not the guy he fought, who could have matched his speed. Lets be real here.
Yes, Hatton was a live dog and all, but he never fought with his gloves up and got caught.
Cotto has some of the best precision in the sport. He will land that jab often and it will stagger Pacman. Cotto is quicker and stronger than JMM as well. Cotto will jab with force like did to Clottey
And those who said the body work did nothing to Clottey? What fight were you guys watching...those body attacks took their toll. Clottey was the one physically beat. He was the one that could not land nothing significant on Cotto in rounds 10-12 and allowed Cotto to come back in the fight.
I for one can't wait for the fight and hope it makes it to the championship rounds, and if it does; someone will get KTFO, and I'm willing to bet the house that it won't be CottoComment

I gotta say I was thinking the same thing this weekend. I think of Pac fights a Cotto that looks like the one that fought Clottey Pac will own him. Cotto looked lathargic. I couldnt beleive how slow he looked. His body work was subpar. I think he needs to hook up with his uncle or get a top notch trainer. That and a new cut man.
I hope he gets it together and fights Pac this fall.Comment

It will be a tough fight for both, but saying Cotto's deffense will be exposed is a bit exagerated, if anything is questionable in Cotto is his stamina, but even when he gets tired late he can box, duck and slip. Manny better not get off balance trying to land bombs on Cotto.Comment
