I dont get the big deal about the sales for the JMM-Floyd fight. I dont know anyone who thought that it would be a huge fight before the 24/7 sereis. Honestly, I dont even think most mainstream people know anything about the fight. Add to that a major fact that they are doing the fight on short notice, it was just a dumb move from the jump. Even Arum talks non stop about needing a long time to set up a PPV. Again though, no matter what they do, no one is going to really know nothing about the fight or buy alot of ticket until the 24/7 series comes. Thats when everyone will be hyped about it. Maybe htey moved it back so HBO could actually add like 2 more episodes to the 24/7. I wouldnt be shocked to see them have like 6 shows for this fight.
Let me get back to why I made the thread. I think if Floyd was smart then he should try to jump in right now and go straight to Pac. I guess its not a huge deal but it would be better for him. Even if the rib injury is true, it wouldnt matter because it would be healed by time the Pac fight hits. JMM would never step aside e****ally to see Floyd fight Pac. However, if you make a contract telling JMM that you guarantee him that you will fight him next then I could see him doing it. If Floyd beats Pac then he's even more famous, which means that JMM could make twice the money for a Floyd fight then he did before. I dont see it happening though because even if Floyd wanted to do it, he would still have to bite the bullet in negotiations and I know that would eat him up. He would also be fighting the best, fastest, most explosive guy in the game after a long layoff. That would be dangerous
