    Mayweather made the biggest mistake...

We all know the reason why he came back... it's all about Pacquiao... he should have waited for Pacquiao (after Hatton) instead of picking Marquez (he thinks he can turn people's attention to him)...

Now he is in jeopardy... The fight is canceled because they know the fight cannot compensate both fighters' purses.. LOL.. what a shame...

They should continue to fight and split whatever the amount they generate.. Poor boy... He stumbled while chasing pac so badly.. His stock is in massive decline and not selling anymore... If Cotto/Pac happens, bye bye Floyd.. pac will not fight next year due to elections... Mayweather may go back into retirement if he still want to run away from Mosley, Margarito, or Wiliams....

it would have been a real gamble to step directly into a Pacquiao fight after a 2 year lay-off

Mayweather can fight the winner of Pac-Cotto, that's as big as a fight can get or he could go for Mosley.

I don't see Pac vs any body next year due to his schedule..

Maybe he needed a tuneup fight after a 2 year layoff.

If thats too much for you to handle mentally then I don't know what to say.

you're right. it would have been. maybe he shouldn't retire so frequently. had he stayed active he would have been in a better position to try and cherry pick for a big money fight with pacquiao and not have to warm up with marquez. boohoo.

what difference does it make who the pre-Pacquiao fight is against?

if the man feels he needs a temporary retirement who are we to judge... it's a demanding sport.
