yeah exactly, so the email is pretty on point. but that fills up the forums, with a lot of crap. i'm being honest: i'm a cotto fan, but i know he won't handle Mosley, Pacman and Mayweather in the state he's in now. some ppl just wouldn't get that. for instance, Cotto-Clottey, i was watchin and i had to give it up to Clottey for a couple of rounds. my brother and cousin couldn't understand that i did that. lol, oh well..
yeah i'm Sikh of religion and my parents are from Punjab (indian), all Sikh men have the last name Singh, and my name's Paul. So that's how. that's cool tho, that you have indian fam (i'm guessing you're caucasian). cultures mixing together, wonderful thing.
It's still hard to judge whether the Marg fight had taken much out of him. Jennings was no threat, so showed nothing to show a decline in Cotto, except maybe he should have finished him earlier (perhaps Jennings was tougher then most give him credit for - heartwise). As for Clottey, he fought him the majority of the fight with a huge cut above his eye, no easy task considering the opposition is a top 3 welterweight. People seem to disregard the obvious, so now they say Pac will obliterate him within 6-7 rounds.
I'd still favour Cotto against Pac as long as the fight is at 147, not catchweight.
Also, i am a sikh too, i'm Ray Singh. Many sikh's i know don't have english names such as us, so it came as a suprise.Comment

i agree with you on all points, except the one about Cotto vs. Pac, i'm a huge Cotto fan, and not in 6-7 rounds, but i don't see Cotto winning against Pac the way he's fighting now.. he's kind of sluggish and not as fearless as he used to be in my eyes, tell me if im wrong. It's still hard to judge whether the Marg fight had taken much out of him. Yeah, i guess my parents "anglofied" my name, you do boxing too? I've been boxing myself for 3 years now, nothing major tho, finishin up my studies. I have Akaash Bhatia in my FB, seems he's a Sikh pro boxer from the UK i think.Comment

Regarding Pac/Cotto, i think the biggest factor will be the weight issue. If it is at the welterweight limit of 147, then Cotto has the advantage. But, Cotto has not met anyone with Pac's speed, and no matter how big Pac is, he seems to carry that speed up well, as for Power, Cotto has been in one punch powermen such as Torres (dropped twice?), and wear-you-down power punchers (Margarito) with mixed results.
The fight should be great, and if the fight is official, i might change my mind in favour of Pac, but for now, i'm saying Cotto should not be underestimated.
I don't box myself and won't be looking to, but i enjoy the training side. As for Akaash, as far as i know he is the only english Sikh pro ( i don't know any others). I've only seen him in 2 performances, and while he looks impressive, he is fighting mediocre opposition. His next fight against Jamie Arthur will probably be his toughest challenge and is an eliminator for the British Featherweight title, which is held by Martin Lindsay who is very beatable.
Have you heard of Andrew Singh Kooner? I have him on FB, he lost on saturday in ridiculous circumstances (British rules). A headbutt in the first round caused a horrible cut enforcing the fight to be stopped, but instead of a No Contest, the fight was ruled a TKO1 in favour of his opponent. Pathetic.Comment

Cotto at 147 has a great chin, he's not going down. but Pac's speed and power, that's all. i mean.. Pac - Hatton, what the hell was that? that was the same guy Floyd was beatin on for 10 rounds. if he can pull that off...
i've heard of the name, but donno much about him, i'll look him up tho. thanks. i've seen that a lot in smaller events that some fighters just get screwed, and there's nothing you can do about it. ur record gets ****ed up by **** like that. so whats he gonna do about that?Comment
