    Cotto=worst conditioned fight

    I don t no what the hell cotto'sconditioning coach is doing but it sure as hell is not working. In the clottey fight he gassed out in like the 7th round. i thought clottey would be the one taking rounds of. Even felix trinidad was better conditioned than him.Cotto need some of margarito conditioning. Whether he cheated or not he was one of the best conditioned fighter i have ever seen. If cotto does fight pacman he better be running 15 miles every day. From the day hes starts traing until like a week before the fight.

      It's not the conditioning coach's fault that Cotto spends every night when he's not in training at some bar, drinking Johnny Walker, and trying to take home as many women as he can.

      It's a well-known fact in PR that Cotto is a Johnny Walker fiend (kind of like Hatton and his Guiness). That is another reason why they moved training camp to Florida. I guess they need to start earlier because 8 weeks isn't enough to get Cotto in shape for 12 rounds.

            Johnnie Walker....not bad, unless you're a fighter.

            Anyways, Clottey was the one who stopped punching, I agree though that Cotto has stamina problems.

                Cotto had Clottey in the corner and was breaking through Clotteys defense punching right through it, and he didn't follow up!!! He backed off!!! Something is up with either his stamina or his confidence or something... Clottey is freaking insane to want to fight Paul Williams, Pwills is going to stop him!

                Wrights defense > Clotteys defense

                  He didn't back off in the 6th because Clottey wasn't punching back, the next few times he backed Clottey to the ropes, Clottey let him get off with 4 or 5 punches but then he punched back which made Cotto wary and cautious so after that happened he backed off after shooting off a few punches.

                  And I doubt a Williams-Clottey fight ends in a stoppage for either guy.

                    Cotto is on the slide. Not really surprising when you think of the career he has had. He has fought the best out there over the years, had fantastic success, but he has been in a lot of hard fights and if you add in some dodgy lifestyle choices it takes its toll.

                    I like Cotto a lot and have massive respect for him as a fighter, but IMO the next elite or top class fighter he faces will beat him.
