The only thing i like about fighting is using your hands, i prefer to see two professional boxers throw punches with technique, timing, accuracy, speed and power, when a boxer throws a punch to the temple, he is aiming for the temple, not just throwing wild, looping strikes hoping to KO your opponent like they do in the ufc.
At the end of the day boxing is a mans sport, which has been around for hundreds of years, men fight with their fists, not with their feet or by holding a man down on the ground and punching him, boxing is the fairest combat sport of them all, both boxers remain on their and trade punches, if a man is KO'd/TKO'd is only done so by a punch,
it is easy to wrestle somebody to the ground, hold him down and "ground and pound" him there is no skill involved, and it is unfair, at least in boxing both guys remain on their feet and have the chance to protect themselves with an arsenal of punches,
kicking, kneeing or elbowing somebody when they are in close is a b1tch move. And the most pvssy tactic of all is the so called "ground and pound"
I don't even know why people keep mentioning mma/ufc here, it doesn't possess a threat to boxing, boxing will never die, it has been around for hundreds of years,Comment

i seriously doubt dana white was a real fighter. just one of these dudes who come to the gym and workout. have 3 sparring sessions, then get a nosebleed and all of a sudden have a headache anytime someone ask them to spar again.
i watch mma sometimes, guys like anderson silva, rampage, arlovski and rashad. ppl who most likely stay on their feet. i give ufc props for promoting fights very well too. but as for the acctual fighting, as for skill.. boxing beats ufc all day every day.Comment

Haha Dana White with hair looks like Berbatov that plays for Man Utd!!!
I have respect for some fighters in UFC, personally I think alot fights are staged but I admire the likes Liddell, Silva and Coutoure.
Lesnar on the other hand has been handed that title imo to bring in money for the UFC. They're capatilising on his popularity with wrestling fans and its paying off. WHo sells mroe tickets with a casual fan, Chuck Liddel, Randy Coutoure or a former top performer in one of the most profitable entertainment businesses in the worldComment
