He's a body puncher. I'm not surprised a few punches find there way below the belt.

The premise is.........He lowballs when hes hurt...............He was most hurt in the Margarito bout..................Warning or no warning...........an increase of lowblows should have had happen.................to be consistent with this premise........right?...................

its a fight for gods sake, i know there illegal but at the end of the day your in hte ring to hurt someone who is out there to hurt you. Any fighter whos gettin hurt will resort to a couple of cheap shots, its just cotto seems to hit low in nearly everysingle fight and always at a time when he's on the backfoot.

cotto is a dirty fighter, make no mistake about it, but he doesn't rely on this dirty tactics to win his fights. but cotto for sure hits low, and the back of the head shot was total bull****, i don't tolerate that crap for a second, if i was the ref i would've taken a point away, it was clear even in real time that clottey was turned around.

but cotto is exactly like trinidad in the same regards when he gets stunned, he hits low immediately, that was trinidad's signature move when he was hurt, all you have to do is watch tape on both guys. i've seen it enough to know that it's not an accident.

thats like a highly trained sharp shooter missing a building.

there is no myth to the fact that cotto will foul when he gets stunned, and he will outright foul when he feels like his opponent has too much momentum, you can't fault him for that, you do what you have to do to win, but one thing is for sure, you can't be blind and ignore the fact, especially saying and telling people what they see with their own two eyes is a lie...... cotto fouls when he's in trouble.

me personally, i like cotto and i like dirty tactics. i think it makes the game more interesting, but what i don't like, are the kind of fouls that stop the action, and i certainly don't like and can't stand rabbit punching........ if you're gonna do that, then boxers should make the transition to MMA or fight in the UK where rabbit punching is common practice.
