Clottey basically did to Cotto what Margs did to Cotto..... Clottey didnt use plaster... Cotto was running and running and running after the 6th round..... At the start of the 7th (I remember the round specifically) thats when Clottey started to push cotto back and started making Cotto run..... Almost an identical fight.....

I know alot of people will still think he did... But did this fight change the mind of anyone on this board???

No I dont think margarito cheated. Just because he got caught trying to cheat, doesn't mean you have to question every fight he's had.

He was blinded in his left eye you moron. The fact that he built a second win in the last 2 rounds actually reinforces to me that Margarito cheated. Cotto is someone who will dig deep when in a tricky situation against Margarito he was broken down.

I kind f even thought that Margs might have cheated.... I'll show you posts where I thought he might have been guilty...

But after this fight it just reinforced what I thought in the first place.... Too much pressure, too many punches... too many uppercuts... and a whole lot of early body work beat Cotto, not the plaster....

the only reason I can think that he cheated against Mosley was because he felt weight drained, and knew the the speed difference was too much... He was going to try and negate that speed..... I dont know, i think he knew he was going to lose that fight because of his weight and speed, and that why he tried to cheat that fight....

I dont know though.. I know I can be biased sometimes....

I have talked to fighters who sparred with Margs and they all he doesnt have that single one punch knockout power, but that he has just really heavy hands.... They said from the first round he catches you you feel the strength....

He is a outwork, outduel, take your best shot, wear you down kind of fighter....

Margs hurt Cotto with some hard body shots in the first couple of rounds in that fight....

And Cotto cant use the excuse (plaster) as to that is why he got worn out in the Margs fight, because he did the same exact thing in this fight.....

styles make fights, if Margo can take Cotto shots in a rematch and keep coming and throwing he might beat Cotto again, but one thing's for sure, we only seen Margo in one fight after Cotto in which we know he was clean, he looked like a different fighter, not nearly the same power.
