Even though I thought Golota won...

I think he coulda done more in that fight. Ruiz is the champion and when your the challenger you gotta go and take the belt from the champ. Although Golota did enough to win, he could have worked more on the inside and threw more combinations.

    Just my opinion.

Yeh. I absolutely agree. The only reason he lost is that he wasn't busy enough.

Yeah he did not throw his right hand enough thats for sure. He also didn't go right after Ruiz after the KD.

well since it was a championship fight
i dont feel he did enough to take the belt from the champ
he got a great help with the fake knockdwon ruling and the point deducution
but he really let ruiz dictate the momentum of the fight
and i saw ruiz hurtin golota alot more
and as the champ ruiz finished up strong which is why i think he won the fight

He didn't throw his left hand at all though. Larry Merchant said that he is nowhere near as good as he used to be. Golota is clearly shot.

Golota clearly did not want or deserve to be the champ. After that fight I kinda wish there was decision available where neither gets the title, because neither deserved it. Lemme see, my opponent is going to throw one punch and lunge in with his head down trying to clinch. Hmm a jab followed by an uppercut might be a good idea, dontcha think?! What a frigging idiot.

I agree that he should have done more and did actually win! Golota did a hell of a lot better then just about any other fighter to fight Ruiz since he has been champ besides Jones! Ruiz is really hard to fight if he is allowed to clinch!!! I woul love to see a rematch!!! I know, I said I would love to see a fight involving Ruiz!!! I just want to see him get beat!!!
