Remember after Floyd fought JLC? Instead of not fighting him again like a punk, he gave JLC an immediate rematch. Not only was it immediate but I think it was scheduled for just like 2 or 2 and a half months after the 1st fight. What people forget is that not long before the rematch, JLC pulled out with an injury. I distinctly remember Max on FNF's saying that if it was Floyd that had pulled out then everyone would be saying that he's scared and doesnt want the fight. Even after that Floyd wanted HBO to give him a Lazcano fight. Juan was a straight beast at that time and on the top of his game. Floyd wanted the fight but Juan turned it down. HBO talks about it alot. Floyd then said **** it and he just waited for JLC to get healthy. No one gives him credit for that. He gave JLC an immediate rematch, was willing to face a top rated guy once JLC got hurt, and still waited for JLC to get healthy so they could settle who is the best. Thats why you cant rip Floyd for this.
Most of all though, it makes no sense at all what the fans are saying. You guys just want to rip him just to rip him. None of you even wanted the JMM fight to happened but now youre ripping him for the injury. Because you dont want to look like fools and say he is scared of Juan, you instead flip it to some how tie it in with him being scared of Mosley. What? How did Mosley even get in the picture. People want so bad to rip Floyd that they are thinking of thigns way down the line. Now Floyd is so terrified of Mosley that he faked an injury that had nothing to do with him fighting Mosley now, just so he wont have to fight him in the future? It makes no sense. If anything everyone should be happy. If its real then you cant hate on him for it. Injuries happened. If its fake then you dont get the JMM fight that you didnt want to see anyways or atleast not immediatly, and he truly may be doing it to find a way to go straight to Pac which would be even better, wouldnt it? I bet anything that if he was scheduled to fight Cotto, Mosley, or Pac right now then everyone would say that he faked it because he's scared of them.
