    New Idea for Ring Logos

Nobody can argue the fact that ring canvas logos are a necessary revenue stream for promotions.

However, since the logos are really for the tv viewer, why cant they use the technology like that yellow "first down" marker line visible on football broadcasts?

That would sure eliminate the frequent problem of guys slipping on the logos.....

Good idea, I had a thought that... you know how there painted on at the moment? Why don't they just make the logos in the same material as the canvas... so the material is the same all the way through... with still the ads (kinda like sowing something into a material).

    Just a thought I guess...

Thats an easy one.....COST and TIME. In many instances the canvas sponsor isnt fully locked in until only days before the event. Plus, the cost of actually sewing in custom logos would be prohibitive, especially with multi-color complex logos. Kind of like the difference between the vinyl tape "pinstripes" on most cars vs. having pinstripes actually painted on.........

They should use some kind of grippy, non-slip paint.
