Man, HBO is becoming boxing's downfall...

Every network every sport they talk about the stars more then the other guys.ever seen espn?ever watch football?bball?it's not just BOXING,hbo is putting on great fights so idk what u mean by killing the sport

I didn't like how HBO was making Clottey out to be like an exact clone of Margarito. They are not that similar at all, but listening to HBO you would think that they were identical fighters.

Not exactly the same thing as what you are saying, but this bothered me during last nights telecast and really did not want to make a stand along thread on the topic.

HBO is always biased for the company man though (the fighter who they want to win and want to keep showing in the future).

Then I go out to a bar and they show the highlights of the fight..... They show only highlights of Cotto NONE of Cotto... So I start telling my frineds about how biased they are.... Then another guy there starts saying the same ****....

Everyone I talked to about the fight, whether they were big fans or just a small casual fan that doesnt know much, they were all saying the same thing....

HBO has the best production and best fights, but the bias is clear and the nuthugging is horrible....

Yeah he said he thought Clottye won, but because Cotto was such a warrior, and the way he fought he would go back and change the scores because he LOVES Cotto.....

If you notice Cotto just fights a few rounds then gets on his bike because he knows as long as he dont get knocked out he's gonna get the decision.He did that on the Mosley fight too.

I said they are putting on graeat fights but the fact that they are noticeably pulling from oone fighter and the bias that is there is turning people of to the sport......

At least in NBA, Football, and other sports the teams play the game and they determine whether or not they win the game....

In boxing they have three judges that have networks in the sport of boxing, knowing the promoters, knowing the station staging the fight....

It is one of the only sports that is determined by someone other than the players or teams that are actually playing the game......
