We can all see that's what he's here for

In that case lets take points from Clottey for the headbutt...

This is what I came up with after a re-watch

It was a close fight. I had it go like this:

        R1-Cotto; 10-8/10-8 Cotto
        R2-Clottey; 10-9/19-18 Cotto
        R3-Cotto; 10-9/29-27 Cotto
        R4-Draw; 10-10/39-37 Cotto
        R5-Clottey; 10-9/48-47 Cotto
        R6-Cotto; 10-9/58-56 Cotto
        R7-Clottey;10-9/67-66 Cotto
        R8-Clottey;10-9/76-76 Draw
        R9-Clottey;10-9/86-85 Clottey
        R10-Cotto; 10-9/95-95 Draw
        R11-Cotto; 10-9/105-104 Cotto
        R12-Cotto; 10-9/115-113 Cotto

Round 4, 6 and 10 were the biggest rounds for me personally. Round 4 could have gone to either man, I couldn't decide. I can see how judges gave it to either guy. And round 6, I initially scored it 10-8 for Cotto, but changed it to 10-9. He had Clottey on the ropes for 2 minutes and just pounded him. For round 10, last night during the moment I had it 10-10. Neither of them did much of anything, however upon re-reviewing it, Cotto landed the three most meaningful hits and scored it 10-9 for Cotto

Some of the rounds were really really close except for the rounds that both fighters clearly won

I am a big Cotto fan,I think it was a close fight i had the fight at 114-113 but if clottey would have been steady on the 11th and 12th he would have won,i am tired of hearing ppl say he was robbed,HE BLEW it

my "card" (while i never actually wrote it down round by round i kept track out loud) was very similar to harold lederman's card with the exception of a few rounds we went against each other's decision but at the end of 12 rounds 114-113 for cotto is what i came up with.

After the first half of the fight it got hard to score...clottey was comming inside and pushing cotto back but was really doing anything to "win" the rounds and cotto was moving around the ring looking for the distance he wanted and the oppertunity to counter clottey which didnt happen very often.

so those rounds could go either way.

it was a much closer fight than i had predicted...i expected clottey to not lay down but didnt see such a closely competitive fight...clottey gets an A+ for defense last nite. brilliant stuff...much better than i expected. the jab was cotto's tool last nite...worked well for him...he gets a B- for body work last nite...not his best at the body but pretty good...cotto's defense gets a C- at best...i expected more defense; instead he just ate some shots at times...

props to cotto for making it till the end of the fight with that bad cut...i know it was leaking into his eye all nite and it was clearly apparant at times that the blood was obstructing his view and was eating right hands because he never seen them coming.

Im not impressed with clotteys antics...his knee was NOT hurt nearly as bad as he played it out to be. i will almost go as far to say that he may have fallen intentionally. looking at replays it doesnt seem that he fell because cotto made him. Same goes for that hit to the back of the head from cotto...its REALLY apparent on replay that it was a delayed reaction trying to encourage Art. M jr to deduct some points from cotto.

cotto did hit clottey with a low blow during the fight and it was apparent that he landed below the belt but i never did get a second look to see if it was intentional. could have been? idk.
