baldomir was lineal WW champ. he got it from zab who got it thru KOing spinks for the WBC, WBA and IBF titles. a lot of ppl thought baldo would be able to beat floyd btw, more importantly ppl attacked him for ducking baldomir until he fought him and gave him a proper lesson.
