I had no trouble with him fighting Holyfield because no one really knew how shot he was until last Saturday, but Booker, come on now. You should know better than that. There may be a giant leap in the level of fighter who fights in his next bout, but Owen Beck is not a giant leap.

Toney is nothing. Or maybe not when you consider he has the WBC "Continental Americas Heavyweight" and IBA "Heavyweight Champ" titles. But, after all he did whoop the aging Evander. And that Heavy prospect Jorov, oops, cruiser. Recently though, he got my attention with his domination of ...... Danny Green, now that's impressive.

Toney had his day from 1991 to 94, notably against Barkley, but those are the 'ole days. And Toney has had his chances. Today, he doesn't draw a crowd, so he's not going to get the big shot.

I dunno, I think a lot of "fans" see a big name in Toney and would pay to see him fight for a HW championship.

But personally, I don't really fancy his chances with any of the current champs (well, maybe Brewster, if you consider him a champ).

I just want to know why everyone said Roy Jones stood no chance against someone the size of the Klitschkos but for some reason Toney does?

because RJJ doesn't have the chin of Toney. toney has passed RJJ from 10 years ago when they fought

I just had to put my 2 cents in on this one since RJJ went straight from Lt Hvy to fighting a champ, Toney could and should have done the same thing. Now all the sudden he is trying to say no one will fight him. I aint got nothing against Toney but his tendancy to lay on the ropes will probably get him in trouble with the big boys who can lean on him and hit a hell of a lot harder. I definiely think he dont need to be fighting a Booker type guy any more. He needs to get a top 10 guy if not a champ, into the ring.

Yet the glass chinned RJJ went in against the worst champ at the time and won his belt. Toney should have had no trouble doing the same thing by beating Brewster or the same paper champ who RJJ beat.

I think any top 10 guy will handle the great over-hype Toney!!! Maybe I'm wrong but I just don't see it. He was a great fighter, but not at heavy!!!

I'd like to see him fight Klit, I think he's talking a bit too much for a guy who has only fought a very low level of opposition at Heavy
