no way. winky is much physically stronger than clottey. plus winky doesn't get tired or complain like clottey. malignaggi was right about clottey's mental fortitude. winky is a future HOFer... clottey ain't **** compared to winky.
nah. clottey ain't half as good as winky. clottey's guard is not as good as winky and tito would've gotten through the guard.
yep, and clottey has a good jab, but he stopped throwing it halfway through the fight. if he does the same thing for tito, tito would beat him up.
floyd would beat cotto up pretty bad. floyd would potshot cotto early and let cotto tire himself out while floyd blocks / rolls. FOR SURE floyd would be killing cotto w/ uppercuts and overhand rights. midrounds, floyd would turn up the heat and cotto will be back pedaling. floyd will put combos together that would rock cotto. late rounds, floyd is killing cotto w/ lead right hands as cotto drops his hands because he's gassed. floyd might stop cotto late.
yep, basically the same cotto we saw in the margo fight
yep, still a sucka for the uppercut and right hand.
also he gased like I said he would.
was that the one that scored it for cotto by a wide margin?
I can understand that he gave it to cotto, because it was a close fight, but by that wide a margin is a farce.
tito was a one dimensional and wouldve got out boxed by clottey similar to winky vs tito only clottey is a better puncher than winky.
tito was beat all night by winkys jab.
and as for floyd. floyd can definitely out box cotto but it will be a different fight. cotto would be the aggresive fighter putting on the pressure which cotto is better in those circumstances. to beat cotto you have to put constant pressure on him making him fight backwards which floyd wont do.
yep, basically the same cotto we saw in the margo fight
He fought the same way he always does,
but he really got outboxed and beat up,
his last 10 second flurries seemed to pursuade one of the judges, who if I may add was grossly inexperienced for such a big fight.
I can understand that he gave it to cotto, because it was a close fight, but by that wide a margin is a farce.
