It definitely looked worse on the slow motion replay. Real time it looked kind of strange, like Clottey was playing it up a bit. I'd have to see it again but it looked like both guys needed to cut the ****. I think Mercante did a great job handling the various oddities/fouls/whatever that came up throughout.

If I had to make the excuse for Cotto I'd say he probably couldn't see very well and he was fighting on fumes at that point. He wasn't trying to clinch hardly AT ALL in that fight and just threw the punch not knowing where Clottey was. That's the excuse angle.

I would like to see it again real time and slo mo though.
