    Take your own advise.

Cotto didn't beat the **** out of anybody last night.

Despite slipping and sliding all night long...Clottey landed the better shots and landed them far more often.

Cotto showed no improvements, if he was in there with Margarito (bows down to the man) , it might of gone down the same way it did.

And like many predicted, it was going to be close, but Cotto would of loss, because he will get a bit gassed and he wont throw enough, and Cotto would of edged him in the later rounds boxing.

Well thats the exact **** that happend. It was a close fight that Cotto won, because he won the last 2 rounds do to Clotteys inactivity and lack of energy.

The fight was great. One thing it was clearly in that fight, Cotto got rid of his demons from the Margarito fight, and that Clottey doesnt have a granite chin at all. He was KD with a jab and he was hurt several times in the fight. Cotto didnt gassed as bad as he did in other fights. He was still mobile and and agile enought to throw and slip punches.

Another thing is that, Clottey went all hollywood last night, faking injuries, faking Low Blows and faking that punc n the back of the head. That **** landed in the ear.

Anyways, why all this Cotto hate, dude fought with one eye for 9 rounds, didnt complai at all of anything, when he could of pulled a Robert Guerrero and get out of the fight. I mean theres even threads about Cotto being a bad Parent. I mean WTF that have to do with boxing?????

Give props where props are do. Cotto and Clotey foought a very entertaining fight, but Cotto edged the fight winning rounds 11 and 12.
I agree with everything you said except the critical on Clottey, headbutt was accidental, Cotto shouldn't have slammed him though it was probably heat of the moment kinda thing. The back of the head was an accident as well as the low blow... Clottey was trying to buy a point from that though... he might have been able too from the slam but I don't think a point should have been deducted.

Clottey was hurt a lot but they were good punches from Cotto, don't forget that Cotto is a powerful puncher... and the jab that he scored the KD on didn't hurt him, he was off balance and fell from it, perfect shot when he was badly positioned... you could tell he wasn't hurt he got up pissed as ever.

Don't be so critical against Clottey cause he gave your man a hard fight... though you are right people who call Cotto a bad parent are fucking idiots, props to Cotto for fighting through the cut and winning a close decision... Clottey faded the last 3 rounds like you said.

          They are just haters champ.

They can't just accept that it was a close fight that could of went either way, it was a great fight also.

I think it was clear that the cut bothered Cotto and no wonder, It was deep. He couldn't see Clottey's right hand coming and that was clear when you watch rounds 7,8,9 where Clottey literally lands his right hand at will, Cotto knew he wasn't going to win this way so he adjusted and used his footwork and jab. Clottey could of took the fight over but he didn't step up his workrate in the championship rounds and allowed Cotto to take the last 3 rounds on my card.

I scored it 115-112 for Cotto.

I hope there is a rematch.

I doubt Cotto will give Clottey a rematch. Highly doubt.

He better be glad Clottey is an OK fighter that can't punch.

It was a pretty good fight to me, not overly great because of how certain things played out (I just don't like when cuts caused from a foul accident or not play an overly large role in a fight) and while there was a lot of drama in the championship rounds not that much action in those rounds.

It was a close hard fought fight, with the knockdown and how the championship rounds played out I think that Cotto deserved the nod.

He boxed, their hedas came together once and Cotto got that massive cut so to me it makes sence that he wanted to keep on the outside, although to me that allowed Clottey to really get off.

The fight surpassed my expectations though and I throughly enjoyed it, Cotto deserves a lot of props for fighting on the whole way with that cut even when the smart play was to cut the fight short in round 7 or 8 when it was clear that the cut was having a very negative effect on him (although there was a point of no return).
