bringing his kid to watch this brutal sport at a very young age..
Cotto is the MOST IRRESPONSIBLE PARENT

Lot of fighters do it. Not just Cotto. Dawson brought his son to watch him get beaten around the ring by Glen Johnson.
I don't agree that its right for a kid to see that, especially if the fighter loses badly.
But I guess after he saw his dad fight Margarito, that kid was ready for anything. -

Most boxers do it, they would know whats best for their own child and if they think their child shouldnt be there then they wouldnt allow them to come. If i was a boxer i would never allow anyone of my family member see me fight unless its my Dad or a distant relative.Comment

You are normally a fair and some what balanced poster but to say Cotto is irresponsible as a parent for bringing his son to the fights? Dude hundreds of fighters do this, you make it sound as if Cotto is the only one. It would be more irresponsible to just leave his kids behind with God knows who. Have you ever heard of kids getting ******ed because parents go to work and have to leave their children with strangers and even close members of your own family can not be trusted. Cotto tries to keep his children close to him and I believe he won the custody battle over them. How does that make him irresponsible? Just something to think about.Comment
