116-111 : Different Scoring System Needed?

After last nights win by Cotto (which I had Clottey win by 1 point), seeing the judge score it 116-111 just made me realize why some people don't like boxing! Crooked ass judges who lean in favour of hometown fighters...In my opinion the fight should of been a draw after all that bull **** with the headbutt and Cotto body slamming and Cotto never dissapointing with his low blows...


To save the integrity of the sport of Boxing, they should goto a different scoring system, have more judges and take out the crooked ass judges who score the fight in favour of their hero by having 5 judges and when the scores are given, take out the scores which are highest for each fighter (I.E figure skating scoring) and use the 3 rest to give the outcome of the fight


We can all agree this kind of judging HURTS the integrity of the sport, there should be something done.

I think modifying the scoring system shouldn't be out of the question but this example wouldnt work. the biased judge would have just given cotto 114-113 or whatever instead of 116-111, it would be easy for them to exploit.

see, having that sig automatically tells me not to give a **** on ur comment. Being biased and all. There could be 10 judges and cotto completely dominates the fight and u will still see it as if he lost. That's the problem here.

Ask any real boxing fan, they know Cotto low blows lots, whats wrong with my sig? you need a tissue sunshine?


Some kind of scoring system needs to be modified so bull **** judges wont wreck the fight
