I believe that he would box Clottey. People are just saying that Cotto did the same thing that Mayweather is wrongly accused of doing, that is running. So, Floyd backing up against a shorter, lighter, smaller opponent? Great. Cotto doing it against Clottey? It makes him soft, because Cotto is big for the weight class. Even though Clottey is just a big, if not bigger. Right. That makes sense.

I can't belive the majority of people in this thread fail to take his cut and blood in his eye into account. If someone had not seen the fight and just went by what is posted here they would never know that cotto had a cut with blood going into his eye.

I cant beleive that more people arent on here talking about Cotto getting on his bike again for like the last 4 rounds. If Floyd did that then everyone would have there mouth open yet Cotto is supposed to be this big bruiser and he's done it in every single big fight. He runs like a girl late in the fight. People were saying that Clottey did nothing late but thats because Cotto was running like a girl. Atleast Floyd is a boxer and is outweighed by a ton in the ring. Cotto is huge and supposed to be a monster. It looks sad when he runs. It makes him look soft to me. Dont give me that stuff about that he was boxing either. To be fair to cotto he had a bad cut above his left eye and was having trouble seeing from quite early on in the fight.So i think its a little harsh to be saying he was on his bicycle for the last few rounds.I doubt this would have been the case had he not suffered the cut,I think it could have been a very different fight had cotto not been cut so early on.
Clottey fought a good fight though and landed some good shots but for me he just wasnt aggresive enough to win the decision especially being the challenger,But he's definatley a tough guy and i dont think many fighters would relish the thought of having to face him.

I saw no cut in the mosley fight! Cotto is a front runner. A 6rd fighter.

I had them tied at the end of the 10th round!!! I thought and expected clotty to win, he indeed chased cotto but did not cut the ring and trap him. instead cotto would come back exchange and move out. if you had a cut with blood in your eye would you trade the whole fight... Of course not because you would have been kofout. Clotty had to cut the ring and pin him but he didnt. thats why to me he lost. I did not care who won be`cause I always like clotty why? because just like cotto he is not afraid of anyone.

what a bunch of haters,Clottey never hurt Cotto,the only way he hurt him was by an "unintentional headbutt" and then Clottey had all those theathrical acts,it was not the fight i expected,yes Cotto was running some but thats was part of their strategy and it worked,Clottey could have won the fight but he didnt do anything in the last two rounds
