I think Clottey is great but i think Cotto was giving him too much respect..Especially when he was able to drop Clottey so early which was shocking..He was effective against him on the ropes but looked like he would get bored and then move away..Wtf was that about...The cut was probably a contributing factor being that it was pouring into his face. Must be painful aswell...

Yea the cut but also clottey is a strong fighter with accurate punching and a very good defense. flash kd can happen to any fighter.

cotto was too cautious at times. and he just backed up from rope to rope to rope over and over which i couldnt understand but he was going to the ropes on his on. clottey couldnt really score any ring generalship points for cotto being on the ropes being that he wasnt forcing him to be there. cotto fought willingly and aggresively with his back on the ropes.

Oh hes strong no doubt..But to me that was a stinger and he got caught out there..
