Cotto got a very nasty eyebrow cut in the third round but still continued to fight until and finished the fight despite the doctor threatening to stop the fight. Cotto showed the heart of a champion and nobody can deny that. He may not have won the fight in the eyes of some peeps here because the fight was close and could have gone eiter way but for me, miguel angel cotto is a boxing champion who deserves respect.

I wouldn't say I lost respect for Cotto, but I think he clearly lost the fight, and was the only one getting physically beaten up in the fight. However, Cotto fans really have to stop calling Mayweather a runner, because Cotto was actually running a lot more tonight after he realized that he couldn't box at mid range with Clottey.
