I lost all my respect for Cotto.

You guys know sh@it about boxing
Cotto won the first round 10 -8 that gives him 2 round advantage over Clottey right off the start then he won rounds 7, 11 and 12 that gives him 5 rounds already he also won on my opinion rounds 2,4,5 that is a total of 8 rounds to 5 since I honestly think Clottey was more aggressive and won rounds 3,6,8,9.
Stop looking at lederman card you novices... this is a round per round fight. Also I was counting the punches and the stats were wrong....I know Cotto haters out there are crying like babies and can not accept Cotto won a hard fight bleeding and protecting himself. He was the better man and the better fighter all along and Clottey knows it nobody fights 8 rounds bleeding with limited visibility like that.Comment

well ain't you just a bull**** ****ing lier?I would have had it the same... about the headbutt don't be so bitter and biased... the headbutt was accidental... stop acting like Clottey cheated, it could have easily been Clottey cut f there heads were positioned right.
I am pretty sure I saw you be negative in a thread where he was simply celebrating flag day, the guy can do anything, you will be negative.
He isn't a cheater, its called an accidental headbutt... the referee knows that... Cotto knows that, only you don't know that. Both stepped in, heads clashed by accident, if the heads where positioned differently Clottey could have been cut.
You Mayweather fans always hear what you want.. pretty lame how you gonna try to stick words in my mouth that I didn't even say.Comment

I pretty much agree with you. It's just funny to see people crying about the Clottey headbutt, but giving Cotto a pass for the punch to the back of the head. Especially when the headbutt appeared to be the more accidental of the two. I do agree that the back of the head punch was more a heat of the moment type thing though. But an accident it was not.I don't think either was dirty. You do have a point about Cotto punching Clottey in the back of the head and then low blowing him, but I take all the events as heat of the moment type things.
I don't think either is particularly intentionally dirty overall although both had their bad moments last night.
However, this is boxing, not a game of horseshoes. So **** like this is going to happen. But certain fans want to have it both ways, and that's just silly.Comment

clearly? schoolboy error?Seriously, dude ran all night and faught like a *****. Clottey clearly won the fight. Winky had a bad cut against B-Hop and looked alot better then Cotto did. Cotto ran and didn't do much, then when he did go on the attack, it was in the last 20 seconds of the round and nothing really landed. Where as Clottey did his all to chase Cotto down but what for? He wasn't chasing Cotto who boxed beautifully (Calderon, Mayweather, Guzman or B-Hop) he chased a man who didn't want to fight and wanted to get away.Comment

Cotto continued to compete and I respect him for that and Clottey should have pressed it in the latter rds (10-12) but that 116-111 score was trash IMO.
I apologize to all for my comments this morning (those really in favor of Cotto)
I am more pissed at that score than anything and thought the fight could have been a draw.
I am not a one-sided trash talker and do not want to be perceived as one, I just get heated sometimes.

Exactly my thought, anyone can get worked up in the moment, just like when Cotto slammed him, just got heated up that's it. I think the low blow and back of the head was accident, once again you can get carried away and throw a shot low by accident, and with the back of the head Clottey tried to turn away whilst he through a shot, it accidentally hit the back of his head. All accident's, the only dirty thing I saw was the slam and like I said it was just getting heated up I think.I don't think either was dirty. You do have a point about Cotto punching Clottey in the back of the head and then low blowing him, but I take all the events as heat of the moment type things.

I didn't say you did... I said I was pretty sure, I could of been wrong... but I am pretty sure it was in the "Mayweather's America" thread.
Anyway, you still do come out with bull**** to try to be negative... you will be negative to him for doing anything, so you can't go round saying that "Cotto haters just hate for the sake of it" when you do the same for Floyd... that is all I am saying. Truth is, I haven't seen you make a positive Floyd post from what I remember.
You Mayweather fans? I aint biased... I am pretty fair actually. Your going on about Mayweather fans only hearing what you want, I bet this goes exactly the same for you right now... you don't like hearing that the Clottey headbutt was an accident and wasn't dirty but you do like hearing people saying that he is dirty and it was intentional.
I don't know how anybody can lose respect for Cotto in this fight though... at the end of the day the guy had a nasty cut and fought through it winning a decision, you should be proud of your favorite fighter Sin.
I am gonna be honest I have become bigger fans of both fighters now after last night, they both get my respect.Comment
