Ring Magazine has Jorge Solis ranked #3 featherweight

Former Pacquiao opponent Jorge Solis is ranked 3rd in the featherweight division by Ring Magazine. Ahead of Rocky Juarez and title holder Cristobal Cruz. Your thoughts??

I heard after the Pacman defeat Solis has been kicking ass and taking names, seems like that lost did him some good.

Its kinda weird though that they have him ahead of guys like Rocky Juarez and Mario Santiago who i feel beat Luevano, and Cristobal Cruz who has a world title in the division.

solis was kicking ass way before he got done by pacquiao he actually moved up in weight to fight pacquiao
he recently koed highly touted monty meza clay
the reason of him being so high on the list its because of his longevity in that division plus hes undefeated at 126

i hope juanma lopez gets up there @ 126 after finishing his business with caballero and /or vasquez @ 122...

i can see him cleaning 126 against the guys there...

unless vasquez proves he still has a lot in his tank & beats him to it...

He never even really fought anyone before he fought Pac. The only big name he had fought was Soto and that ended in a three round technical draw after a cut and it was never made again anyway. It was never made again because he was about to be knocked out by Soto. He had just been beaten up for two rounds and then dropped and then the cut was decided too severe for him to carry on. He fought Cristobel Cruz and won, but who hasn't beaten Cruz? The guy has been beaten over ten times.

Highly touted Monty Clay? By whom? He had never beaten anyone of note to be highly touted. He fought one name guy and got knocked out. He has never been highly touted, least of all now.

Luevano seems to need work, the last 2 fights I seen him in, he struggle to beat his opponent whom I thought he should have won fairly easy, haven't seen much of Cruz or Santiago and after what happened back in Feb Juarez to me isn't top 5, so I wouldn't know but having a belt doesn't necessarily make you "elite"
