The point is he just lost to a 49 year old that is 10x more of a shell of himself than Sylvia is. Thats a straight up embarrassment and you making excuses is even worse! Before anyone starts saying that this shows boxers would beat MMA fighters in MMA, lets not forget that Mercer lost to Kimbo Slice in under a minute...

What it does show is that a boxer will always have a puncher's chance in any fight, especially if the opponent chooses to stand and trade as Sylvia did.

He also had a very hard time in K1. He's done well in beating a decent name in MMA, but some people need to face the reality that this is the exception rather than the rule.
