I don't think anybody should be discrediting Clottey, he show he is an elite tonight, out-boxing Cotto at alot of spurts in the fight, showing he can take a punch. I mean, how the **** did he not go down when he was against the ropes and in the corner? A lesser man would have given up and fallen. Clottey showed heart and determination tonight, and I hold this as more of a win for Clottey than anyone else. Even when Clottey was fighting back off the ropes when he was clearly taking shots as strong as a mule? You have to respect that. Win, lose, or draw, they are both winners for putting up such a great fight.

cotto won. end of story. stop crying. stop complaining. clottey didn't do enough to secure himself a victory. he knew he was fighting cotto in msg the day before the parade. he had to make sure and leave no questions as to who won and he didn't. cotto fought his heart out with one ****ing eye for almost an entire fight and managed to keep clottey at bay for the majority of the time so i can see exactly why cotto was given the rounds he was given. 116-111 is a bit extreme and i dont agree with that one judge but otherwise cotto did what he needed to do to score points, survive and steal rounds. you can ***** about dirty tactics all you want but the powerbomb was unintentional, clottey turned his back to cotto which resulted in the punch to the back of the head and then he tried to over act about barely getting hit to the balls. he was already trying to ***** his way into a victory before it had even ended. cotto is the king and the fight would have probably been more one sided in cottos favor save the eye injury. bring on pacquiao and mayweather. i wanna see more wars!

chasing an opponent who can only see out of one eye around the ring for 12 rounds and not being able to ko means plenty. cotto was on the defensive a large portion of the night but clottey never had his way with cotto how people are making it sound. they both had there dominant moments but when it comes full circle you would expect clottey to be able to put a wounded cotto away. he didn't.
