Cotto showed incredible Heart, He is definitely a warrior. He also showed good footwork in the later rounds. Clottey should have turned it up a notch in rds 11 and 12. But there was no way Clottey was going to win a close decision in MSG. All in all a GREAT fight tho!

Exactly. He kinds of waits for fighters to hit his gloves. In today's boxing flashiness is more important than substance. That's said I can say with conviction Clottey was robbed.

everyone is talkin bout the 116-111 score which was crazy, and that judge should have his license taken.. but the other judge had it 115-112 which is crazy as well.. fight shoudl of been a draw..


and clottey does need to b more active.. but he did say " I have to take my time with a guy like cotto, he was throwin one punch and i was blockin all of them"

Clottey needed to do more in rounds 11 and 12. He bascially did not do anything to win those rounds. It was a close hard fought fight that could have gone either way but Cotto winning was definetly a fair choice.

Was a good fight, lived up to expectations IMO. Both of them showed guts, Cotto's defense looked a little better in this fight, he was closing his elbows. It was a close fight, could have gone either way, it wasn't a robbery although 116-111 was a little too wide.
