    I think he should be on the list near the bottom right now. If he beats Clottey by a good UD or KO he should cement his place in the middle of the list. Just my opinion.

        Miguel Cotto while he was groomed slowly and patiently, when he was asked to rise to the occasion, he came through. Solid victories over N'Dou and Malignaggi as well as corley at 140 helped jumpstart his career. But the victories against solid guys like Quintana, Judah, and Urkal gave him a solid start to the division, His victory over mosley IMO put him over the top.

        The only knock i have on cotto right now is that his title victories are all against vacancies, it would be nice to see him actually take a championship from someone else at welter.

          he could of taken the title from clottey but ibf didnt let it go thru

                      plaster of not if jmm beats floyd its legit..cause floyd doesnt get hit enough for plaster to matter
