Wow, I had no idea that mouthpieces were so valuable, I would figure for $50 you could get a top of the line mouthpiece and a steak dinner.

Then the question pops up why steal someone elses mouthpiece that is fitted to their mouth and why Monte Barret's mouthpiece not like that could get ebayed for decent money, no way would it even get close to $50.

I haven't interviewed Barrett on the subject. I don't know if foul play is suspected or what but from what I've heard from sources, it was a top of the line mouthpiece valued at over $200.

It could also hold some sort of sentimental value, who knows. But all I do know is that there is a mouthpiece missing and a decent reward for it's return.

I would not exactly say that, but I would say that there is no resale value in Monte favorite mouthpiece.

Someone famous enough you might be able to get some bread for, if it is like from some big fight for a famous fighter. People buy some wierd ****
